After having a productive discussion with a staff member about protocol, rules, ext, we both came to the agreement that it's a mess. I have decided to take it upon myself to re-word some of the rules, to where they may be of better understanding, as well as, cancel out common loopholes. This is solely a suggestion, so that there are no confusing or grey areas.

NOTE: Everything in white is the current as follow rules. Everything in Orange is my personally formatted rules, in hopes to amend or improve the original rule.

Rule 2: No sexism, racism, inappropriate discussion or foul language.
Due to the server being based in an English speaking country, please take all non-English chats to faction chat or PM.
Please refrain from inappropriate discussion in chat, which includes drugs and such.
This rule supports Rule 1. When these topics are talked about, it usually results in an arguments. These talks will NOT be tolerated. Positivity and negativity on these subjects is not allowed. If you have an opinion on these topics, keep them to yourself please. This does not include minor swears like 'damn', 'hell', or 'bish', although whether you get warned or not is at the discretion of the staff member, who will decide your punishment based of the severity of the swearing and the rate at which you use these words.

Rule 2: No discrimination of gender, race, nationality, or political stand point.
This server welcomes all players, no matter who they are and who/what they believe or support in. Please refrain from topics involving this, as we are all here to just play.

Rule 3: The word of any staff member is final.
If a staff member tells you something, you are supposed to follow their word. However, staff are not allowed to tell you to do something in real life. If in the smallest of small possibilities, a staff is abusing their position, you are to message the manager of the server. If its on an even higher level, please message me directly.

-- Move this to the last rule, as it reminds players that Staff are the ones who enforce rules, and there is variation on some of the rules.

Rule 3: Keep all discussion "school appropriate".
Even if you are adult, this game is still rated for children to play. The only supported language for public chat, is English. Keep all other languages private. Please refrain from vulgarity, swearing that would normally be filtered, drugs and alcohol, and pornographic content out of chat, and in-game items (books, signs, tool/armor names, name of an entity, ext.). The severity of this rule being broke can be determined by a Staff member.

-- Moving the original Rule 3 to the last, as that is a key reminder to all players, that staff have a final say.

Rule 5: PvP and raiding are allowed
PvP is allowed. You may raid unclaimed and claimed based, however you may not bypass faction claims.

Rule 5: PvP and raiding are allowed.
You may PvP or raid players/factions that are not owned by Staff. Check the faction description before attempting to raid. Staff-Only Factions will only consist of Staff members. Factions that have staff members and normal players in it, will not state that they are a Staff faction, and therefore can be raided. If a faction does not consist of ONLY Staff members, and the description states otherwise, report the faction name and location.

-- Moved Rule: 16 up here.

Rule 11: Bypassing factions is not allowed
For obvious reasons, bypassing claims is not allowed. However, place-down explosives (TNT, SDX and such) are allowed as long as they aren't used in tandem with the archimedes ships mod. TNT (Or any other explosive for that matter) Cannons (Place-down) are also fine. Raiding with "placed" creepers on claims is not allowed. Raiding with withers is not allowed. Anything else is not. When in a faction, you cant kill your fellow faction members. Setting homes in enemy/truce/neutral bases is not allowed. However, if a home was already set, and the area was claimed afterwards, that is not bypassing. You cannot use sponge(s) or sponge on a stick (from the open-blocks mod) to remove fluids from a faction you do not have access to build in.

Rule 11: Do not bypass claimed land.
A bypass in claimed land, is using any item/mechanic that is not restricted upon entering a claimed territory. Using a bypass to raid or steal items from a claimed territory is illegal. Examples: Fireball gene, Wither, Creeper Eggs, Dinosaurs, RPG's, Witchery, Cobble Monsters, and much more. TnT/SDX/C4 may be used in raiding, due to them being place-down explosives. Liquids that flow out of an unclaimed territory into a claimed territory are not illegal.

-- Re-worded some of this, and the last sentence is really up to Staff's decision.

Rule 15: No harming a player immediately after a teleport
This includes poisoning, tag-locking, and trapping players. You must wait at least 40 seconds after a player have teleported before you can affect the player in any negative way (This only includes teleportations using the /Tpa and /Tpahere commands and witchery teleports. Both participating players in the teleport command gain the 40 seconds grace period. bypassing this rule via a friend who isn't subject to the grace period will result in punishment!)

Rule 15: Do not affect a player in any negative way after a teleport
You must wait at least 40 seconds after a ./tpa or a forced teleport through witchery, before you can affect a player in any negative way. This includes but is not limited to: potions, taglocks, in-escapable traps that require a teleport out, mob pits, and so forth. This rule works vise versa.

-- Worded, so that players can understand that they can use witchery tp, but there has to be a valid escape, and it can't be setup like a killbox. If items like blood roses are setup all around, there must be at least some way to escape.

Rule 16: Do not raid or kill staff members.
Staff members cannot kill or raid you, so please do not kill or raid them either. Staff-only factions are completely off limits for raids, however if staff members are in a faction with regular players that faction can be raided (Staff only factions have "Staff only faction" integrated somewhere in their description and are consisting of staff members ONLY) (Non qualifying factions with a description indicating they are a staff only faction will have their faction description changed and may be subject to a punishment depending on the severity of the situation).

-- Reworded and put into rule 5.

Rule 20: Do not protect your base with blocks or techniques which make your base unraidable by legal means. This includes the blocks listed below, and any blocks with blast resistance higher than 75 (advanced glass walls)
If you are not sure, just use Advanced Glass Walls. If you are caught using blocks with a blast resistance greater than Advanced Glass Walls (anything with a blast resistance of more than 75), OR using any of the otherwise illegal blocks / items, the Illegal blocks will be removed from your base, thus allowing the player that reported it to raid it. A list of all the illegal blocks and techniques can be found at the bottom of this thread. If you are unsure, ask a mod or higher for clearance to use something. You may use these blocks for mundane purposes, so long as they aren't used to defend your base in any capacity.

Additionally: Do NOT build your base within 10 blocks of the void in any open void dimension. You also may not let water, or any other protectionary fluid flow from your base into the void.

If you see an unraidable base please contact a moderator or a higher up Bteam PvP staff member in game, via discord or via a ticket so that they can investigate the base. If the base is determined to be violating this rule, the illegal blocks or contraptions will be removed and you will be able to raid said base.
Please Include coordinates if you are notifying a staff member on discord or via a ticket.

NOTE: This rule is subject to spontaneous change, and new blocks or methods may be added. If you would prefer to stay safe, ask a mod or higher, or only use advanced glass walls and water.

Please keep in mind that this list is subject to change. Some items may be removed or added in the future. Again, if you are unsure: Ask a moderator or higher up staff member, or stick with simple blocks. If you manage to find other means to make your base unraidable, we are still permitted to force you to get rid of it.

Rule: 20 Do not abuse explosive resistant blocks to make your base "unraidable"
As the modpack contains many explosive resistant blocks, you may only use them for cosmetic design, or minor structure of a base. You may not create entire walls out of explosive resistant material that exceed 75 Blast Resistance. 75 Blast Resistance is equivalent to Advanced Blast Walls. The standard obsidian block may be used, as it can be destroyed by explosives. By creating a wall, floor or ceiling out of a material, you must be aware of it's nature to explosives, by either via testing the item in single-player, or getting approval from a staff member. It's obvious to Staff that you neglected this rule if you have placed a lot of the same block, and it just coincidentally appears to be unbreakable to explosives. This is your responsibility to carry out.

Additionally, your base must be determined to be "raidable", under the discretion of a staff member. If you have protective liquids on your base flowing into the void, excessive blast resistant material greater than 75, or excessive lag, your base may be subject to either an immediate notice to fix it, an unclaim, or an entire deletion of the base.

If you find and unraidable base, or have any questions pertaining to this rule, seek out staff consultation in-game, on discord, or through a ticket.

-- Made some wording changes, because many items were not actually covered. This should be a player responsibility to follow, or at least seek help if unsure. This is mostly up to staff discretion, as even bases containing some blast resistance material of above 75 can still be raided easily.

I know this was kind of long, so I may have made some typical sentence structure errors and so forth. This is written in a way, that I personally believe will stick better for the players. Even if only one of these would pass, I'd be glad to unravel one if not more issues. I appreciate your time for reading.

„Blast resistance 75 is the same as 80“ Bud, you‘re wrong there, the ABW has a much larger Blast resistance compared to Reinforced glass walls, Reinforced Glass Walls are pretty much the same as Obsidian, both are 1 Hit from SDX.

The thing is, Spart (this is just what I've done) is that I've actually taken the time to crunch down the rules already (did this a month ago), it just needs to be implemented now. But yes, it is a bunch of word salad.
